Discover how we implemented a Multicloud universe for one of the major players in insurance brokerage, Gras Savoye.

Context

The leading insurance broker in France since 1992, Gras Savoye belongs to the brokerage and consulting firm Willis Towers Watson (WTW), a global group present in over 140 countries with more than 45,000 employees dedicated to 38,000 clients.

Challenges

With the perspective of taking advantage of the major levers of the Cloud, Gras Savoye chose the Go Cloud & Security offer by Micropole*, a Talan company. As the parent company WTW defined a Microsoft Azure Cloud standard to capitalize on Group-level harmony, Micropole*, a Talan company, supports Gras Savoye in its migration and the integration of new projects. Our consultants provide advice, infrastructure expertise, integration, monitoring, DevOps, and more.
Furthermore, our Microsoft Center of Excellence provides the necessary support to the teams as part of their mission.

Methods et solutions

As a consulting firm, we accompanied and shared our full expertise to guide Gras Savoye toward their Cloud transformation. During this project, we defined strategic aspects and possible scenarios, up to the migration plan, while integrating Willis Towers Watson standards. Thanks to our teams' expertise, we designed and built the foundations of the Azure Cloud and the deployment of associated services, in line with an international group strategy.

Benefits

  • Reduction of French Data Center costs and integration costs for new projects

  • Implementation of infrastructure and cost monitoring and optimization

  • Agility and acceleration of projects

  • Standardization of the Group's platform at an international level on Microsoft Azure

  • Study and validation of monitoring, backup, and DevOps technologies

*Micropole joined the Talan group in October 2024.
