Camilla WINLO

Camilla Winlo is Global Head of Data Protection. She is an experienced leader of data protection consultancy teams. Key achievements include winning Best Privacy by Design at the DMA Awards and Best Data Ethics and Privacy Initiative at the DataIQ awards, both for work with WarnerMedia and DQM GRC. In 2022, Camilla was named as one of the top 100 Women in Tech. Camilla is an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ Publications Advisory Board, the TechUK Smart Data and Energy Digitalisation Steering Groups, the British Standards Institute’s committee developing the standard for consumer protection in Privacy by Design, and the Ofgem Cross Code Digitalisation Steering Group.

She is a regular public speaker noted for her commercial, pragmatic and strategic view of data protection and AI issues. Prior to moving into data protection, she was a senior marketer and part of the leadership teams that launched three new financial services brands to market in response to regulatory change. Camilla has a decade of experience of commercialising regulatory change, including as part of the leadership team developing and launching three new financial services businesses. She specialises in data protection, privacy by design, AI and regulation.
